| John McGhee has
been playing guitar for 27 years. A postgraduate of the RSAMD, he has
a wide range of influences from classical through to jazz, and his repertoire
covers everything from medieval music through to recent chart hits. All
of Johns musical arrangements are his own, and therefore unique, played
in his own style based on classical guitar but incorporating every listening
taste. A guitarist of the very highest quality, John has over 20 years of experience of entertaining in restaurants, playing at wedding meals and the ceremony, private functions, openings of companies, conferences, pubs, and many other special occasions. He has performed many times in Richard Branson's Norton House Hotel in Ingleston. He has also entertained diners at many of Scotland's leading hotels, including Gleneagles, Turnberry, and One Devonshire Gardens. John's high quality equipment is extremely portable, quick to set up and compliments his excellent standard of performance. Acoustic guitar is a very unobtrusive instrument which can be played either with or without amplification to suit the atmosphere, and provides relaxing and enjoyable background music as you enjoy your meal. |
